Babagay kaya yun sa tunog ng A custom projection crash?  :-D

any reviews sa zbt series?

diba may back to school or something sale sila?  :-D

I'm planning to buy 16" A custom Rezo Crash (ito kasi yung nakasale sa JBMusic na crash. :)

A tad better than ZBTs IMO, but the B8s are better, tonewise and durability-wise.

Ayon sa Wikipedia bro, ang Edge daw is higher end sheet bronze that precedes the ZXTs... Kaya B8 bronze din sya.

it was a long time ago na nung last ko na try yung Zildjian Edge, yung 18" Crash nila IMO is great pag rock yung tugtugan.. pero the best pa rin IMO yung 20" China nila, untill now hinahanap ko pa rin yung sound na yun, it's a great add ons sa cymbal collection... but for durability wise, i think all cymbals naman tatagal if aalagaan mo and personal use mo lng... have the correct technique in hitting the cymbals as well as maintenance, you'll prolong the life of your cymbals...

for my reference: yearling, rubbershoes, chadrhix

1. Nabasa ko po na checking the serial number on the cymbals is one way of verifying its authenticity if I'm buying from a private seller.
JJ) ay indication ng year of production. So ang JJ ay 2000
Magkaiba sila ng serial number at magkaiba sila ng weight. Yung isa po ay #A20532-1090711E 930g, yung isa naman ay #A20532-1060512A 942g

Ang mga tanong ko po ay

1. Pano ko po maveverify from the serial numbers kung legit siya? I mean is there a list of serial numbers where I can check whether  the serial number given to me exists? If there isn't then there is a possiblity that one can just etch random numbers to the cymbal diba?
2. Kung yung JJ po ay 2000. Tama po ba ang sabi sakin na yung AA 46313 536 ay 2013 prod? Ang pagkakaintindi ko po kasi AA ay 2011 since J = 10 and A=1.

Sorry if this issue was already discussed earlier in the thread and I thank you in anticipation.

you dont need to worry about serial numbers bro. laser stamp or old style hammered stamping is proof enough its the real thing. nobody tries to fake that.

in case there are no identifying marks, the sound alone will tell you its real or not

weights vary from cymbal to cymbal within the same range

hehe, same old, pero nirefine daw ang sound,oh well it depends on the ears  of the drummer. :-D

I've been checking out the new 2013 A's recently. The 23" sweet ride is fantastic. Wonderful smooth mid wash with a nice gentle ping. The 17" medium-thin is also veeeeeeery nice. Bright with lots of complex overtones in the top end. I ended up getting a 2013 A Zildjian Thin Crash 18". 1330 grams on my kitchen scale. Saktong katambal ng 1970s A 16" thin crash ko. Bright, light, opens up real fast, and decays moderately. Just perfect for me since I don't hit really hard. I'm sure 2013 will be remembered as a vintage year for A's. Everyone who complained that Zildjian lost their way starting in the 80s can shut up now.

May pang-nuyir na ako!
