Nung binili ko ito from an Irishman, pinili ko sya kaysa sa Peter Ponsol hard rubber mpc  8-)  Nag-agree kami na mas magand ang tunog nitong Morgan kumpara sa Ponsol

The Morgan Jazz Tenor Saxophone Mouthpieces are among the best mouthpieces ever made. These Mouthpieces are made from the finest pure hard rubber. The formulation for the rubber is exclusive to the Morgan Company and is the same formula as used by the top mouthpiece makers in the 1920s - 1950s. It is a pure rubber with no synthetic additives.

The Morgan Jazz Tenor Mouthpieces are available in two chambers: Medium and Large.
The Medium chamber has a round chamber with a smooth roll-over baffle. It has a long S-curved roof to produce that POP you want without sharpness in the palm keys! It has an even response from low Bb to as high as you want. It has a compact, centered, brilliant sound with maximum control and flexibility.

The Large chamber has a larger rounder throat area which produces a warmer, darker and more soaring sound. A long roll-over baffle provides excellent projection and power. Perfect control and rich subtones.

Ralph Morgan (Elkhart, Indiana, 1924-2007) was a legendary mouthpiece maker who started playing saxophone professionally a the age of 12. He later enrolled at Wayne University in Detroit, Michigan, with a full saxophone scholarship. His father was chief woodwind designer for the Conn company. After WWII, Ralph Morgan started at the Selmer Co. in Elkhart, In., and later became their chief woodwind technician. After his retirement in 1980, Morgan started his own mouthpiece company. The top model Morgan mouthpieces were made from pure hard rubber with no synthetic additives, similar to hard rubber from the 1920-50s, and cast from own molds. B-stock mouthpieces feature the letter ‘B’ below the Morgan engraving.

Ed Pillinger alto mpc (bronzite) - 10k    - hold (this is a very powerful mpc.. parang may booster yung mpc.  Sinubukan ito nung nagpapa-ayos kay Mang Panny at kinumpara sa metal alto mpc niya.  No contest, anlakas ng tunog and at the same time nareretain niya yung tone....hindi manipis yung tunog.

Pillinger Mouthpieces are the result of years of research into the effects of design and the significance of materials on tone and response. In addition to a well centred tone, Pillinger mouthpieces offer depth of colour, evenness throughout the registers, a wide dynamic range and carefully judged playing resistance appreciated by solo performers and orchestral players all over the world. In Edward Pillinger's small London workshop mouthpieces are made entirely by hand using the finest materials which have been selected for their strength, stability and tonal response. Each model in the Pillinger range offers a genuine difference in the internal shapes and dimensions in addition to a comprehensive range of facings. Some clarinet mouthpieces incorporate the best features of early 20th century French and English designs, others offer totally new features developed and refined to suit the demands of the modern instrument. The uniqueness of the Pillinger manufacturing process means that subtle shapes and modifications can be incorporated into the design in a way which is not open to the big commercial producers who are limited by the confines of their mass production techniques. Before leaving the workshop every mouthpiece is individually play tested by Edward Pillinger, a former professional clarinettist. Unlike many other makers, Edward Pillinger does not make use of imported blanks but personally oversees every aspect of production to ensure quality and consistency.
