for me ayaw ko talga ang stagg na drum kit... its too.. flimsy.. too thin might break apart nahulog ng 1 m from the floor... ewan been there narin kc sa TMS i dropped by dun before i went sa EB last december

pero ewan ko lng sa cymbalas ha....  id still go for saluda or wuhan ... mas cool mga to

man may local distributor ba ang wuhan dito sa pinas ?

ay sorry men for the late reply... .

the only cymbal that i've tried with wuhan was their 12" china...

for Stagg, i've almost heard them all and i can say that Stagg is an under-rated brand abroad. ofcourse locally, it's making a mark of its own. i'm sure in the near future, Stagg would be recognized for it's quality and sound, globally.

in short, +1 for Stagg.  :-) :-)

ganda ung stagg. pati ako 18" na china lang nagamit ko sa wuhan. so far ok lang. with stagg... Ok na ok. Iv'e tried 16" SH Crash and 16" Myra Crash and they realy sound good. Quality is ok but the edge of the SH cycmals are deadly. hehehe it's sharp. Well as of quality of sound and durability I'd go for stagg. No comment with wuhan havent used thier product alot. Go Stagg.

i think wuhan specializes more on the china models....thats why you dont hear that much on their crashes, rides, hats and splashes,

stagg is making its way felt more on our local drumming scene..i believe this cymbal fits the budget of a large portion of our drummers

ay hahahaha para akong [chewbacca] amp
sorry sir...
kc ang pagkakaintindi ko sa hammering is ung top lang hinahammer nila..so ang akala ko is double hammered is two times nilang na hammer ung top side...yung pala pati ung bottom pag double hammered...haha onga nmn noh panu pag triple hammered.. haha

as far as i know...pag mas hammered(e.g. DH) mas short sustain po.  :-)
wuhan chinas are ok, but some fellow drummers told me that LION china models(Wuhan) crack easily, kaya to those hard hitters, hehehe konti ingat lang po.

in short...CHINA=WUHAN....SPLASH=STAGG 8-)
godbless.

well you cant really tell not unless you can try both..if you are a hard hitter then go for the bigger size china cymbals since they sound louder than the small ones..

from my experience with wuhans, i've owned 12" 14" and 18", these chinas are sometimes hard to mix with the music... they're either to loud or too dark.. but i think they're are good for quick accents... (the 12" deserves time to get used to... hehehe)

for staggs, i haven't own one YET... but have tried a few at TMS.... for my taste they're definitely good chinas specially the DH's. Opens up quickly and nicely.... and the open sound is just great...  just my dalawang sentimo...

i go for wuhan pag metal genre, as of now wala na akong wuhan binenta ko na kay tranquildomain, pero pag alternative ang tugtugan i go for more sustain na china.
