nice! yung ipod touch ko kasi ang bilis kumain ng battery eh so I thought it would be the same sa iphone.

BTW, is it true that the firmware can affect the battery life?I heard kasi mabilis daw kumain ng battery kung 4.1 or 4.2 yung firmware. just wondering if its true?

kasi yung last na jailbreak upgrade ko sa 4.2.1 ang bilis maubos ng battery. kaya naask ko kung sa 5.01 ba e fix na yung issue

I asked my friend who has an iphone 3gs and sabi nya mabilis talaga daw kumain ng battery ang 4.1 and 4.2 but when he upgraded it to 5.01 maganda naman daw battery life umaabot ng 2-3 days but when you spend a lot of time playing or surfing the net 1 day lang daw ang battery life.

I think marami naman sources on how to jailbreak online eh pero wala akong link. marami lang akong friends na they jailbreaked their iphones/ipods themselves. sabi nila meron din daw tutorial sa youtube.

you can jailbreak it yourself.,.but make sure na alam mo ginagawa mo dahil pag nagkamali ka ng paulit-ulit you can reeeeeally damage your iphone/itouch.,.may mga tutorials naman sa youtube eh and pwede kayo magpaturo sa mga resident techies jan

^^free lahat ng apps sa appstore thru "installous"..ako hindi ko talaga gusto yung idea ng jb then nung natry ko parehas lang sa normal firmware..walang nagbago sa features..sa jb bukod sa apps may tweaks,dito papasok yung cydia.Since ang ios fix ang themes,features etc..dito pwede mo magalaw yon. Ako nakapaglagay ako ng tethering function,meaning pwede kong gamitin tong iphone ko as wifi hot spot.

Sa pagkakaalam ko wala kasing untethered jailbreak ang ios 5. Pero ang apple ng labas ng 5.01 (download through itunes) recently which is mayroong jailbreak. So upgrade mo muna yan through itunes first.

Be sure to get the latest. Im not home right now so I cannot give the direct link. But as far as I can remember, the labeled "new" there isnt the latest. But once you download that, the software will give you a link of the latest update. AS FAR AS I CAN REMEMBER.

Steps are all through out youtube. Better to see the video rather than giving a step by step procedure in words.
I cant seem to find the youtube vid I followed here in the office. Might still be in my history back home. Some instructions are boring but mine I followed was entertaining. But im sure a lot o em boring once are clear.
