How tight is tight enough nga ba?

ang ginagawa ko, i tighten the screw upto a point na hindi ko na maikot yung allen wrench. tapos may last quarter turn lang akong mejo may effort na pag ikot. just to really know na its tight enough.
yung mga very small grooves sa pressure pads normal lang yung. yung pads ng edge pro if original is hard enough. taon bago mo pa pudpod. base dun sa pag kwento mo, i think baka hindi na sa nut yung problem mo. if nag out of tune sya kahit mag pluck kalang, siguro nasa tension mo na or sa tremolo mo mismo. check mo kung yung knife edges ng trem mo. plus edge pro are notorious about its bridge post turning. kaya may mod na stud lock about sa edge pro. pero kung dati wala namang ganitong problem at recently lang after restring, big factor is the tension plus the trem knife edge.

and how was the tonal response of your warpig to your taste compared from your previous sd distortion?  :?

That is an Ibanez Edge 3 trem. Floyd Rose is a brand. Double-locking floating trem is the correct way to call it.

Based on previous posts in this thread, yes you may replace your Edge 3 trem with a Floyd Rose trem but you have to do some minor rerouting on the cavity for it to fit. Some replaced theirs with a Gotoh trem.

in a nutshell, on standard tuning the two seems to have a similar voicing. but on drop C# which is the guitar is tuned to, the bkp have more clarity. i like the mids better. strings ring out much better on heavy distorted chords. thats on a swamp ash body. ymmv.

pickup swaps again

before: bkp warpig chrome covers black hex bolts
after: bkp aftermath black covers with SS hex bolts

my thoughts: on heavy distorted chugs, the mids and highs sounds a bit "nasal". like a dmz titan i have. im not sure if i like it. the cleans are glassy though which i like. might put it on a basswood and revert back to warpigs.

I currently own an Ibanez RG1570 bought it from Mr. Freak.

Question:
what do i need to do to remove the rust from the Bridge?

do you guys (who've done it) detach the bridge and soak it in WD40?

Never tried anything like WD40,  baka masyado corrosive. Madali lang talaga matangal yung coating sa mga Edge Pro,

Since I can't source Ibanez SureGrips (bottom) for my other trem arms, i decided to create my own.
Bought a shrink tube from the local electronics store for 38/meter and fitted 2 layers on the trem arms.
Works perfectly.

Try mo to, 99 lang sa puregold.
Non-abrasive, non-corrosive.
