i think its just an emulator, which takes up memory and harddrive space. para ka lang gumamit ng themes.

d ko alam yang pearpc na yan, pero ang gamit ko ngayon windowblinds. i'm not sure if it takes up memory. HD space 300mb yata. oks lang kung malaki HD mo.

if you want the dock (yung parang taskbar/launcher) merong ObjectDock, Y'z dock pati meron pa isa, i forgot the name.

puntahan niyo nalang to: www.wincustomize.com

EDIT!!!!
sorry... medyo necropost na pala to...

i tried pearpc a month ago... its like having a virtual os. an OS within an OS

ok naman yung MACOSX running on pearpc. the thing is if you want to run OSX na same performance or fast as what you have. Must have no other application running.

astig nga eh nainstall ko cubase sx3 on macosx at the same time meron din sa windows ko.

pero removed it na...saka na ako mag osx pag may pambili na talaga ng apple mac hehehe

Yeah edge, I know about that software. Bale iinstallan talaga ng OSX yung PC running Windows, and it's not an emulator nor theme/skin.

Kaya lang pag na-install na yan, kahit na mabilis-bilis ang system ay sos! NAPAKABAGAL ng OSX na yan.

I still prefer Windowblinds, pero ngayon hindi na dahil iMac na ang ginagamit co.

Speaking of which, the OS X-like Vista is to launch on 03 Feb with much fanfare, freebies and more at the MOA.
However, one needs a really loaded PC unit to run the full potential and 'WOW' ('WOW' being the Premium Edition and most OS X-like) of the Vista:
    Windows Vista Launch Prices
    • Windows Vista Business English Intl DVD (66J-00022) - PhP 19,710.00
    • Windows Vista Home Basic English Intl DVD - PhP 13,360.00
    • Windows Vista Home Prem English Intl DVD - PhP 15,830.00
    • Windows Vista Ultimate English Intl DVD - PhP 26,430.00
    • Office 2007 Win32 English CD - PhP 26,990.00
    • Office Pro 2007 Win32 English Intl Not to CD - PhP 33,730.00
    • Office Home and Student 2007 Win32 English CD - PhP 9,960.00
I wonder, for these prices, would that mean that the experience is trouble-free and without the annoying antivirus updates that takes up a lot of man- (and woman-) hours? : )

Yup, the lowest @ P9,9k (Home/Student Ed) won't have the 'WOW' benefits and will still hog all necessary resources to run it. Small wonder the pirates are probably rushing the trade to meet perceived market requirements. What end-users are not told, though, is that current souped-up set-ups wont probably benefit so much from the new OS unless they heed the hunger of Vista for more memory and overall speed-feeding peripherals. Pity the Windows laptop users as hardware upgrades do not come cheap :-(

Mapapwow ka sa presyo. I'll stick to XP for now. The only reason to use Vista is if the new PC or laptop you buy comes with it. Even corporations and large enterprise installations are avoiding (or ignoring) moving to Vista for the same reason. Too much hassle upgrading, and XP does the job anyway.
