MGA SIRS!
    MY COMPUTER HAS NO INPUT OR OUTPUT FOR MIDI.
    I HAVE A MULTITUDE OF QUESTIONS AND HOPEFULLY WISH TO BE ENLIGHTENED ON THE SUBJECT.

1.) ANO PO BA ANG MIN. SYS REQUREMENT FOR MIDI?
2.) SAAN PO BA MAKAKABILI NG MIDI INPUT AND OUTPUT? ALSO UNG MIDI CABLES.
3.) KAILANGAN P B NG EXTENSION CARD PARA MA-ACCOMODATE UNG MIDI?
4.) KAILANGAN P B MAG UPGRADE NG SOUNDCARD FOR MIDI?


IT'S NOT THE NUMBER OF STRINGS YOU PUT IN THE MUSIC BUT IT'S THE MUSIC YOU PUT INTO THOSE NUMBER OF STRINGS! (YNGWIE J. MALMSTEEN)

any average pc can do MIDI, its when you want to do Audio and MIDI recording that you will need at least a 800mhz pc or higher and some serious equiptment.

for basic MIDI playback you can use a creative soundblaster card which has a basic General MIDI soundset.

for serious use, you will need a MIDI keyboard (Korg, Yamaha, Roland, etc) and a connection method (serial port, gameport, or USB to MIDI) to record into the PC and also to record the audio.

ah sir mod shameless plug lang. i have a yamaha usb to midi dapter for sale, all you need is a keyboard to play midi on your pc, provided your pc is capable :)
