Check with Toots Tolentino. I think he opened a music studio in Libis.near Eastwood where he offers sax lessons. He is one of the best sax players in Asia

That's a lot!  Thanks MaxMidletone.  Cant wait to go thru each.
I use a sporano sax.  I've only had two lessons and im looking for a new instructor. I can play a couple of songs already but i know im developing a bad habit bec i wasnt taught tonguing. I've read several articles and watched youtube videos but cant seem to do it.
Is tonguing supposed to be used for each note or only when i need to repeat the note?

hmmm... naka soprano sax ka na agad?? hmmm.. sabagay kung kaya moh aman eh.. pero mas advisable kung nag alto or tenor sax ka muna for more than a year bago ka nag soprano, kc mas tight at precise and required embouchure ng soprano sax eh.. pero qng talented ka aman.. kaya yan!! walang imposible... basta practice ka lang lage,,, puro long tones and scales ka muna magfocus... POWER!!

I previously owned an alto sax but never got around to learning how to play it.  I found it too big for me so I opted for the soprano instead.  Luckily I just got a new instructor here in Pque. Thanks for the tips on scales and tones.
