20th anniv Gibson Les Paul Custom

not sure kung mid 60s nga, 6 digits lang serial number niya, nung chineck ko sa guitar-dater nakalagay middle of 1960's eh, correct me na lang ha di naman tayo experto

sarap mag 70s rock sa gitara na to! ganda pa ng set up ni sir Jon. salamat!

@ maxi_musikero - not sure if all stock ito, pero from the looks ng mga hardware niya mukhang di pa napalitan, pati pickups hindi pa din napalitan, yung binago ko lang dyan is yung mga cream na plastics at truss rod cover, everything else is ganun na nung nakuha ko to

pati wiring neto di ko ginalaw.
yung complete set-up and re-fretting were done by sir Jon of elegee.

eto wala lang. pero eto yung natirang matibay sa "ini-mini-mynimo" ko...

Standard Plus came with a BB1 and BB2 as stock pups and with no pickguard screw holes.

mga bro... i could be wrong but there were no les pauls in the mid 60s... les pauls became SG's in 1961 with the looming divorce of Les and Mary Ford... the les paul design had its first reissue in 1968 - 69 first as a gold top.

Also, the les paul design first came out in 1952 which were all goldtops, woith the original ones having unbound necks.... if it's a 20th year anniv it should at least be a 1972 model...

Let me check my books to be sure, but beautiful guitar nonetheless

"It occured to Gibson in 1974 that it was 20 years since the Les Paul Custom had appeared (the first les paul custom was made in 1954 with the staple neck pup I believe) so they celebrated by issuing a custom with a twentieth anniversary inlay at the 15th fret..."

Don't let that get you down though! Your guitar looks like it's got mojo and looks like it has tone dripping out of its bindings and that's all that will ever matter IMHO hehe

Richard ito ba ung kinukuwento sakin ni Aaron Romero (kaibigan ko din) congratz ganda ng SetUP vintage na vintage..

actually, di naman ako talaga sure kung 60s nga ito, bahala na mga experts mag judge sa kanya, all i know is that the guitar is vintage na.

20th anniv ito, nabura lang sa inlay niya nung niliha ni sir Jon.

nahawakan ko na tong gitara nung 14 years old pa lang ako, never actually thought about the value, yung guitar itself is comfortable na para sa akin since then.

ganda. kamukha nung nasa cover ng beauty of the burst book.
one thing i noticed mukha bago ung pups rings nya compared to the other plastic parts ng guitar.
