yung guitarist from wolfgang..

jun lupito..

and the thin dude from parokya.. hehehehe.. kahit minsan patawa yung mga kanta nila.. paminsan he gets to show his skills..

imho lang. hehehe

i have yet to listen to pref. and delta slim.. hopefully i get to catch them playing sometime..

In my opinion.. yun pinaka magaling na guitarist ko palang na nakilala.. yun lead guitarist namin.. sori sa pagyayabang.. He's not always depending on guitar tabs.. pinapakinngan nya lang yun mga songs.. kuha niya na agad as in sakto.. Like Dance of Eternity ng Dream Theater ilang araw nya lang yung pinag aralan nakuha niya na kaagad.. pero sabi niya sakin yun mag hindi nya masyadong rinig na guitar parts dun ay tinignan niya nalang sa internet.. tas marami siyang alam na guitar scaling... tas magaling siyang mag legato, fast picking at swipe picking.. sori own opinion ko lang ito.. sa mga registered bands sa Pinas naman yun lead guitarist ng Rivermaya at Bamboo yun idol ko..

hehe since most of you already mentioned my major favorites...eto na lang sakin...

si RAMON "RJ" JACINTO

i remember an episode of 5-N-UP when they did a thing for guitars. I was just learning to play guitar then i saw RJ on TV teaching the basics of guitar equipment (amps, pick ups, effects...etc.). i remember him saying (not exact words) "...so this next pedal is called a distortion, guess what what it sounds?..im sure you're familiar with this and this will be your favorite..."...then he plays some lead/solo stuff na parang you thought RJ could never play like that...parang clapton/hendrix/srv sumthing. nagulat ako kasi alam ko ang hilig lang nya eh yung mga the ventures at kung anu anu pang di ko kilala. hehe. ang lupit pala nung lolong yun!!!

joey puyat and cowboy santos...hands down!!! :) seriously, they can drive you insane...

i've always been a fan of kakoi legaspi...mr crayon days pa, and now with salindiwa. that guy's too good and too humble. blows me away all the time.

ruben, tele-tubby and deltaslim...good friends, better guitarists :)

razorback gods david aguirre and now manuel legarda are perched high up there in the ranks too...

indeed he is great! but IMO it is not just about just playing the guitar, its not just about you can cover malmsteen, petrucci, vai and the best guitarist exist in the world, it is not just you know all the scales and the techniques. for me being one of the best is that you can create good compositions and how you apply your skills on your compositions... and of course your uniqeness, how you stand-up from everyone else. like billy joe of greenday, we cant say na hindi sya magaling because powerchords lng ang alam nya,  pinakilala nya ang greenday sa mundo just using 3 chords or we can say powerchords!  :lol:

ako din si RJ hanga ako dun nung bata ako. i dont think he's the best, pero kakapanood dati ng RJTV eh naengganyo ako mag gitara dahil sa mga demo nya hehehe

Perf - in lieu of a check, please give a donation to the my foundation which is going to be diverted to a hedge fund which will finance an expansion program of an aspiring muscian to be named later. Thanks.

sino ung gitarista lagi sa ASAP? nakikita ko rin sya gitarista minsan ni regine velasquez etc.. ung kalbo at may bigote... anu pangalan nun guys?
