or check the classifieds, you might be lucky to get a classic vibe tele or strat for less than 15k, those are good guitars. better than some MIM Fenders, in my opinion

Hindi pwede yung sinasuggest mo bro. Kailangan mong dalin sa luthier yan para magawa yan gusto mo. Pero kung 9's, e di 9's lang. Hindi pwedng palit ka ng palit ng string guage kasi may setup ang guitar sa certain string guage lang

Just wanted to ask for advice re a guitar my friend is planning to buy:

as per seller, serial number starts with a letter "O" and was manufactured within 05-07.
but based on some research, it's 97-2000.

wanted to verify as well the authenticity and if the price is fair . di kasi ako masyado maalam when it comes to CIJ strats.

any additional info about the guitar would be greatly appreciated.

With due respect sir I think pwede naman. Actually ang kinagandahan naman ng Strat, you can adjust the trem claw to compensate for the tension either sa treble side or bass side. Kumbaga, itatabingi yung trem claw to accommodate the different tension sa either side.
