How about a picture with readout from your DVM?

Yap. Sir phoenix_rising there are 2 option:
  • Puwedeng idag-dag natin sa loob ng circuitry yung 15V then designate natin yung 1 output for 15V. - with this one may nagawa na tayo (11 outputs 9V & 1 ouput 12V)
  • Or all outputs are 9V then we make a separate and detachable 9V-15V converter - so you can use it with any of the outputs you choose.

Parang mas gusto ko yung first option para isahan nalang. so that would be 12 outputs just incase magdagdag ako ng pedals, la na ako problem.  What's the size dimension of the said psu? and mga how much would it cost?

Just out of curiousity, what would the second option look like?

San ka by the way sa marikina? i work kasi sa marikina, sa east drive. thanks.

About yung size sir:
  • 2" - height.
  • 3" - depth (front to rear)
  • 5" - width

Our place is just near Marikina Engineering Center.  Paliparan, Sto. Nino lang.

About the price.

salamat ulit sir.

Sure po sir.  Will do on monday, probably night.  Tnx  :-)

Yes idol!  Nice to hear from you sir.  Say hi to daniel and to the rest of the band.  Just wanna thank mr. daniel crisologo nga pala for introducing the psu to pinoyguitarist@yahoogroups.com.  I got several orders from them namely sir paul daing, sir daniel cruz and some referals from their members.

Tnx.  Tnx.   :-) :-)

I made a proto-type circuit (under observation) that gives:
  • 9.67vdc @ 2500mA.
  • 80db ripple rejection
  • transient voltage protected (nothing new!)
  • voltage regulated & current regulated (now that's new!).
Circuitry:

Voltage Reading (vdc):

Current Reading (Ampere):

Possible Bugs:
  • harmful to rectifier (if not change to 3A type)
  • harmful to linear transformer (again if not change to 3A or higher than 2.5A)

I am palnning to make a "Thermal Protection System" pa naman sa linear transformer para hindi sumunog.

Debugging is the next stage.

Para saan nga pala yung 15vdc sir tsaka ilan yung current draw ng pag-gagamitan mo nun sir. Tnx

most probably in the near future, basta more on boss type pedals. planning to get a boost pedal, chorus and a compressor, and a volume pedal.

Ok!  but please be very careful with current draws.  It doesnt mean you'll have to push the 2000mA limit.  Maganda kung nasa 1000mA lang ang current draws ng mga pedals mo then use a 2000mA psu.

Analog Boss & Behringer pedals draws a 10mA-30mA per stomps.  But if you will look at the manual it says "use 300mA power supply" or atleast "100mA regulated power supply" that's x10 or x30.  That is because it's harmful to your psu.  Susunog yang psu sir. ->

transformer meltdown.

I am only reminding you because you have a 400mA one.  Current draw pa lang yun.  Kung iko-compare natin with Boss & Behringer na x10.  Pero if i we're to ask i-limit mo na yung 1000mA ng psu para sa 400mA na stomps.

Thank you for telling me that, i will keep that in mind. Malakas talaga humigop ng current ang tonebone ko. actually i never understood the mA's until now that you mentioned it. Mga boss pedals pala mababa. Well anyway, this is good to know.  :-D

Hmm, pero yung tonebone ko is analog, but i guess it needs the power to feed the tube inside. :-D

I was referring to analog boss & behringer pedals. :-)

Kung sa 3000mA.  Medyo mahal naman yung IC regulator niya.  700% ang taas ng price ng IC regulator.  I haven't tried other series of IC.  Hard to find kasi yung iba.  As of now eto pa lang ang series na padala ni utol galing taiwan.
