Traded! Thanks PhilMusic! For sale is my 2004 Fender American Standard Stratocaster for 35k. I got this around a year and a half ago to be my main Strat and gigged with it a number of times until I got another Strat that was heavier-sounding and more suited to my band's genre.
- Butterscotch blonde--a relatively rare color for a Strat--with the (ash?) wood grain somewhat visible underneath
- Has the special 2004 50th Strat anniv neckplate
- Fret life at around 95%
- Trem setup to dive only
- Setup with .9-.42 Nanoweb Elixirs and 50s wiring
- All stock except for the pickguard, though I believe the original was also black
- Comes with trem arm, back cover, and gig bag.
It's also for trade to a non-mint deluxe Strat (Strat+, American Deluxe, whatever-have-you) with a maple fretboard. Or a Fender Japan Strat, still with a maple fretboard.
RFS: Not being used. Got tired of wiping it down every time I played it to keep it in mint condition--I just wanna plug and play some rock n' roll! (Thus the non-mint requirement above for trades.)
