I hope you can share an idea kung paano...

any pedal pwede mo gawin yan kahit barefoot (yes, its possible) medyas lang pwede na pero masyado madulas para sa iba. ako basahan lang minsan kapag nahubad ko na shoes ko at natripan ko magpractice. madulas like medyas but it teaches you not to rely on brute slide force and its so nakakangalay you know but you really have to sweat like chuvaness to get the technique down

share ko lang po...

had a chance to watch john stanier dun sa battles mirrored tour nila (lupit nung concert na yon). Napansin ko, ang ginagawa nya, kapag 8th-16th notes na hindi masyado mabilis, yung ball nung toes nya nasa around three-fourths from the heel end nung nung footboard from the pero kapag 16th (and 32nd notes din siguro) na mabilis, binababa nya yung ball nung toes nya mas malapit dun sa around one fourth to three eights from the heel end of the footboard.

Mainly heel up ang playing nya -- combination ng ankles and legs.

Mas controlled and consistent. Medyo in-analyze ko, ok nga yung ganong technique kasi parang ang nagiging fulcrum ay yung pinaka-cam (with the beater on the other end tapos ung heel end nung footboard dun sa kabilang end). Mas konti lang ang tinatravel (up and down motion) nung ball ng toes and ng legs kapag nandun sa may dulo na (around one fourth to three eights from the heel end ng footboard) as compared dun sa kung nasa mas malapit yung toes mo sa beater end nung footboard.

he he he.. sharing lang.. hopefully makatulong :-)

I used heel toe since I started drumming. yun daw ang tama eh sabi ng nagturo sakin. hehehe well its easy. mejo complicated paguna pero when you get use to it maganda. pero mahirap gawin sa kaliwang paa. I tried pero parang ting ting yung isa kong paa hehehe malamya. It takes a lot of practice to perfect the art of heel toe. start with "dug- tak - dudutak- dug - dug" slow then gradual increase in speed. peace out!
Just let your music fill the empty spaces in you. It's all you have so take advantage of it. It's a gift!

yeah bro ok din ung swivel foot technique..sa tingin ko nga mas madali ung swivel foot kesa sa heel and toe technique..for me para lang din syang heel-up pero the only difference is nag mo move ung foot mo sideways..hehe
and kung gusto ko talaga matuto ng gantong techniques..the best talaga panooring ung mga videos ni tim waterson..how he explains kasi is ung maganda..malinaw hehe..
