itago sa kwarto yung kit.

pero kung kaya ng budget, by a small kit for your child. explain to him/her na yung big kit is for erpat so hands-off.

small kit is for him/her. at least maaga pa lang ma expose na rin sila sa drums.

i can relate to this... for me, mahirap talagang i-childproof ang kit, lalo na sa case namin, maliit lang ang bahay, walang extra room for the kid or the kit... ginagawa ko, since we have a minikit lang, after ensayo, kalas kagad ng kit, tapos lagay sa mga bag at syempre, katakut-takot na disiplina na lang talaga ang katapat.

i also bought my son (1 year 8mo. old toddler) his own toy drumset, at madami pa syang kiddie musical instruments bought by my mom, relatives, etc... pero talagang gusto nya yung tunog ng tunay na instrumento - tunay na snare, tom at cymbals. kahit na nakalabas na din lahat ng toys nya, lalapit pa din sa kit, kukuha ng sticks at papalo... hilig nya rin talaga siguro... pinapabayaan ko na lang sya magexplore sa mga musical instruments na meron ako pero syempre with proper guidance din. iniisip ko na lang na maganda rin maexpose sya at an early age (ako kase late-bloomer, hehe!), parang mas masaya yung pakiramdam na mas magaling yung anak kesa sa ama, hehe!

Ok mga suggestions nyo, chopstix, waxstatic ,& malambeng. Thank you!

I think the suggestions for  buying the kid a small toy drumset are the best - they just want to bang on it all day. And did you notice that the drums are always the most attractive instrument for children? Name one kid who doesn't look at the drum kit with awe when you  let him/her lose in a rehearsal studio?

That's true bro! Sa laki ng drumkit at cymbals na parang mga spaceship na may mahahabang mga paa, walang batang hindi mamamangha dun!
That's why I just gave them my cowbells and woodblocks to play with. I cant afford a toy drumset for each of them eh :-D
