Would you like to know if where your mobile phone is made from?

Eto nakuha ko lang sa text messages and I don't know if it's true. I'd like to see your comments about this.

This is only applicable for Nokia mobile phones only.

Key-in *#06# on the stand-by screen and the the ID number appears afterwards (they call it the International Mobile Equipment ID No.).
Check the 7th and 8th number.
If the 7th and 8th digits are:

- 0 and 2 or 2 and 0, it's made in China - low quality.
- 0 and 8 or 8 and 0, it's made in Germany - fair quality.
- 0 and 1 or 1 and 0, it's made in Finland - very good quality.
- 0 and 0, Original factory - best quality.

Sa akin kasi 0 and 0 at Made in Korea. 0 and 0 is original factory daw pero minsan nagrerestart bigla yung phone ko at mabagal din siya. Sa tingin ko di to accurate. Mga text messages nga naman..

My 7th and 8th digits were 0 and 1 respectively. Kaso nakalagay sa loob made in China daw. hehehe! Btw, Nokia unit ko is N95 8GB.
