mahirap talaga mag complete "no sugar" diet kasi, carbs = sugar ... and your brain needs it to function well. kaya nga pag inaantok ka, you tend to look for carbs - white bread, rice, chips
yung suggestion ko, is not completely zero carbs, pero in exchange, wala syang "man-made" sugar, tapos medyo mataas ang compliance rating:
*morning
-mushroom omelet 4 eggs kung whites lang, 3 naman kung may yolk kasama... mushroom, onions at beef lang nasa loob.
kung bitin, dagdagan mo ng mushroom at beef... mas ok chicken, pero mas masarap beef eh, haha.
*lunch
-naked burrito ... basically, burito na walang wrap. beans, guacamole (konti lang, kasi nakakataba, hehe), chicken or beef, onions, tomatoes, shredded lettuce, salsa.
kung bitin, dagdagan mo lang ng beans. nakakabusog ang beans (ewan ko sa iba, pero, di ako nauutot dito). kung walang time, bumili ka ng large na Taco Boy... wag mong lagyan ng sauce, at tanggalin mo yung tortilla wrap.
*dinner
-shrimp salad. the usual fresh lettuce, tomato, onions, lots of shrimp (para may lasa), season lightly with salt and olive oil.
heto yung pinaka di masarap. kaya pagkatapos mong kumain nito, matulog ka agad after 2 hours, para di ka na mag crave lol ... pero kung bitin talaga ... mag apple ka. medyo cheat na kasi fruit has sugar, pero apple na yung pinakamabait at nakakabusog sa lahat. at least nasa 90% compliance ka pa rin
every once in awhile, pwede ka naman mag cheat. 100% compliance will make you insane.
dagdag ko din ... drink 3-4 liters of water a day. tsaka sleep for 8 hours. the more rested you are, the lesser you need to fight off carb temptations. most people are addicted to carbs and sugar because they do not sleep right, and are generally sedentary. be strict with your sleep ... 8 hours. 10 hours if you are recovering from a brutal workout session. oversleeping can also make you lethargic, and when you are lethargic, your brain looks for carbs. you cannot will-power your way out of that.
