Have anybody seen this video? It's a big hit in the US

I have a video of this and would like to know who are interested on strudying rudiments?

Would like to form a small group maybe kahit 5 drummers lang here in makati and maybe we can gather and practice rudiments atleast 1x a month.

All we have to do is gather bring our snare stands and practice pads. Mini EB but at the same time a great venue to share and learn rudiments.

We can watch the video, discuss techniques and play.

Would like to know drummers in makati or nearby city who would liek to participate. If we have the numbers we can start looking at possible venue.

Okay.. Reviewing some previous posts..

Sir.. I saw that trailer (Mejo matagal na).. Interested rin ako kung may copy ka.. pa recopy

AT oo... Ang lulupit ng mga excercises nila jan.. :)

Regarding your Idea.. I think that one is Cool.. Like talagang aktibong community dedicated to grow in their drumming, Gaya ng mga egoy, kaya ang lulupit nila eh... I'm from Cainta but I'm willing to go to Makati kung once a month lang naman.. Let's all learn and be better/ Excellent at our beloved Craft!  :mrgreen:


Okay ako jan.. Contactan na sir.. Kahit konti lang tayo basta go ako jan...   :-D

hmm.. why limit it to just 5 drummers or even sa makati lang for that matter? we could do this at least once a month on several diff venues/locs as an official EB for Pinoydrums IMO. ^-^

btw minsan nagkakaroon ng drumming gig sa saguijo "drum and drummer" yung event. di ko lang alam kung kailan yung next

IMO..  Maybe we can start sa 5 muna para mas focus and concentrated ang learning.. (Just a suggestion),.. Okay rin naman kung marami para mas marami ang input pero ang problema run is yung pag oorganize.. okay lang rin siguro.. Pero we'll grow thru time, tapos branch out.. hehehe.. (Just a suggestion  :-D)


And I agree as well.. Mas maganda kung iba't iba venue.. Lalo na kung sa Sentro.. tipong.. Cubao, Shaw.. or basta along Edsa para more accessible sa majority..

count me in then. paano pala venue? my place is too small for a group eh. pwede sa amin sa rooftop banda, yun nga lang walang roof dun. :-P

SEMI OT: makati based na pala ako kung sakaling may magtanong or gustong magtanong, magpatulong etc. basta wag lang gabi ha! :-D

oks... Inoorganize na namin ni Dictatone itong bagay na to.. As far as possible sana Ilimit natin (for the mean time) Para madali iorganize.. (We'll grow thru time)

I'll be counting the people from this post (Ito mismo) pataas..  :wave:

Anyway paki PM po sakin mga CP numbers niyo para maayus na natin..  sa mga truly interested.. 6 tayo sa pagkabilang ko.

Confirming - I'm good to go by Aug 11! thing is though, pwede ba after lunch or hapon na lang, kahit 2-3PM instead? ganung oras pa ako pwede kung sakali eh. btw, saan pala sa makati yung studio?

KOREK! grabe yung technique ni koozie sa double stroke. kaya ngayon bago ako matulog tenderized ang unan ko kakagamit ng technique niya. haha!

wait.. anong kapangyarihan pala sinasabi mo dolf? sa drums or yung isa pa?! mas makapangyarihan yung labas sa drums! :lol:

Sir suggestion sa next EB.. If ayus lang sa inyo.. Kung sa makati ayus lang rin naman.. Perfectly Fine po.. :)

8August.. Anlaki kasi nung venue.. Kahit 40 pa tayo kasya tayo, promise... Wahaha.. Yung profile picture ko sa FB, drumset nila yun.. hahaha.. You can check the pics as well sa website nila.. :)

May upuan na dun sa Venue na mahaba so Ang kailangan na lang natin dalhin is yung DrumPad tsaka snare stand na lang.. So parang ang setup is, bench sa harap natin yung pad na sa harap pa ulit yung Video.. Tapos may mga music stands so pag may Notation, mababasa rin natin.. :)

yup! batch 1. maganda kasi kung mapapagpatuloy yung concept na'to. better yet, yung mga graduate ng batch 1 kung makapagsimula ng ginawa ni dictatone para mas madaming batch tayo na ma-cover why not di'ba? kanya-kanya nga lang tayo bili ng portable DVD player kung sakali hehe! :lol:

btw, lesson 1 yung copies na binigay ni dictatone right? sa unan ko pinapractice para maging kasing galing ni koozie ang technique ko! :cute:

busy din kasi si dictatone sa lessons niya AFAIK. Yun din yung reason kaya napostpone yung next session natin dapat nung 30th. Hopefully nga sana by november magkaroon kahit isa or 2 jamming sessions ulit, by december din kasi busy na buhay natin lahat nun eh. :lol:
