When you are looking for that vintage strat tone, is it necessary to change the caps and the pots after you install a new set of pickups?

Putting high quality pots and caps in a guitar makes your guitar sound clearer.

No sir how about the value of the caps or the pots (i really dunno ) like for example 250K to 500K something like that, will it change the tone? In what manner?

General rule of thumb is: 250k for singlecoils and 500k for humbuckers.

The higher the value, the brighter the sound will be.

That's just the general idea.

YES! unless you know what kind of pots are in there, swap them out muna before spending on pickup upgrades. baka makatipid ka pa. like sa gibsons. not sure which models but some models come stock with 300k pots sa volume and swapping in 500k audio taper CTS pots results in an immediately noticeable improvement sa clarity nung tone. para mong in-activate yung bright switch ng amp.

try changing them before installing new pickups. it's the more affordable option. kung hindi pa rin nakuha, then change the pickups.

250k CTS pots + .047uF PIO tone cap.
