Hands down, Eraserheads... Lahat yata ng "sikat" na bands ngayon maypagka tunog 'heads eh! Pero the Dawn mada one hell of an impact too... And Juan De La Cruz! Pepe is a dinosaur but he's still sticking it to the man! Yun and Dedication!

-1 din sa Bamboo. yes, they're the "in" thing now but we aren't certain yet if 10, 20 years from now their sound will still influence younger generations. but it doesn't mean that i'm assuming that they'll never reach the level of the other legends; only time will tell.

the Juan De la Cruz band is the most influential blues rock band in OPM history. Wolfgang and Razorback helped introduce blues rock/metal to the younger audience during the 90s so malaki rin ang impact nila. Eraserheads set the standard for modern pop/alternative rock, followed siguro by Rivermaya.

medyo lumalakas na ang progressive rock, spearheaded by Eternal Now and Fuseboxx. dito sa Pilipinas. i do hope that their music will help introduce this genre to all music afficionados in the Philippines. ang dami daming malulupit na bands and musicians sa atin na hindi kilala at deserving sumikat. untapped resources :)
