Opinions on guitar for bottleneck/slide (clips inside)

i'm not sure pero for some reason  i have a mental image of them hanging in a guitar store. parang JB...  (must be my sub-conscious on one of its astral travels to guitar stores).

if you're not particular about the look of the headstock, the Aria Pro II SPL-SD that someone is selling on this forum is a cost-effective LP style guitar. Mahogany body with maple cap assures similar to LP tone.

Advantage over an LP is easier higher fret access because of the contour at the neck joint.
