actually i appreciate this. except for the fact that they act like as if they are blacks like the gestures or whatever. hindi naman kelangan na magpaka foreign, tama na yung natural pero nasa dugo at puso ang passion sa ginagawa. marami ritong rap artist na hindi nagpapakaforeign, you know what and who are the people i mean.

pure BS for me.

First off, I don't follow fliptop. But it's kind of ignorant to judge the music or the style encompassed in the genre of hip-hop. So pinoy rockers can't do the headbanging gestures? Or those who follow reggae shouldn't use the patwa accent or whatever it is called like the dj's from a certain station? The bloomfields, aren't they just copying sh*t, movements, clothing, hairstyle to the tee?

Its ok to think fliptop is squater but to think hard "rockers" are suicidal would be judgemental? If someone had a tattoo was he an excon? If i listen to bob marley or big mountain or black uhuru am I a rastafarian?

I don't think that's a healthy perspective.

Anyways, there's more to hip-hop than what you see in fliptop, definitely. More to the beats than the sub bass crap. Sampling is not just simply looping sh*t. Rapping is not just rhyming words at the end of each sentences.

Fliptop, nice collective/league. In my opinion though, there's too much negativity even if I know braggadocio is part of hip-hop roots. My only issue with some of them is that i know for a fact that some of them grew up in suburban places, lived privileged lives, went to nice schools, etc. yet they act like they're going to point a gun on someone's head. Weak.

I hope fliptop knows where they are right now in terms of influence. I hope they use it properly.

Peace! :)

For the first time been here sa soul patrol section, hello everyone  :-D
