is there anywhere in the philippines i can find replacement woofers for NS10m's? mine's not broken...its just not white anymore...hella stains (khaki na!) tried calling up yupangco, pinag pasa pasahan lang nila ako ending up not knowing if they had the part or not
one day it'll all make sense

Yupangco still has NS10 woofers as of May this year. Best to go visit their BUENDIA branch or post at their forum on www.Yupangco.com and PM user llb.

interestin...  is that the old turn of the century ns10?  heard the woofers were made from the bark of some endangered tree.  just curious.

yes it is and they claim its a rare wood pulp they use for the woofers

It'd be nice if Yupangco still has spare woofers. In any event, the discoloration seems to be prevalent on most NS-10's I've seen (hopefully it's not fungal rot). Also try surfing over to studiospares.com - they seem to have some NS-10 parts for sale. Unfortunately its a UK site.

I get my woofer and tweeter spares from Yamaha Singapore.  Last time I checked, they still have some.

kitc: i think its just i have just a normal discoloration...i visited studiospares.com...it was great! parang dream shop!:) they have boxed NS10's pa!

mikep: wow! sir how much are the Woofer and tweeters there in singapore? coz a friend might go there, pwede ako maki sabay :)

anyway...weird, di pa na-aactivate yung membership ko sa yupangco forums

I cannot remember the price, but ask your friend to call up Yamaha when he gets there.  They are in the phone book.  Or better yet, shoot them an e-mail.  The Yamaha world wide distributor list would have their e-mail address.
