Has anyone had that weird feeling that there is this certain guitar you need or want but never get?

The feeling that you've always wanted one but ended up with something else, Still longing for that one dream guitar?

I've always wanted a Tele somehow destiny always gives me a strat :3

In the late 70s I wanted a tele that I saw at Salonga cubao. My uncle offered to buy me that but the store would not accept a foreign card. Yupangco accepts the card but I do not like the explorer(?) on display so he did not buy me a guitar. I regretted not agreeing to the explorer.

More than 30 years later I bought a les paul, but reverted to a tele after a few years coz it was too heavy for my back. It was only a few years ago that I remembered that my dream guitar as a teen was a tele

For some reason, my heart is urging me to get a Tele type guitar.

But I don't like Teles 

Pero mga 4 months na ako tumititig sa mga classifieds ng Tele, tapos gusto ko pa yung natural finish ayoko yung red at burst (yuck). SX or Samick lang pwede na.

But I don't like Teles. makes me look like I'm as big as a ten year old. I don't like the twangy sound. doesn't really work with a Marshall-like amp sim.

Pero bakit inuudyok ako bumili?!

Few days back, I was expecting some money from some claims. So I eagerly planned out on buying a Chapman ML-1. Supposed to be my first superstrat. Did extensive research.

Sadly, when I inquired the company said, I had to wait for 18 months to get the claim. Kaput!

ahaha parang ako,,, nung una nag dream ako bumili ng ESP/LTD EC-1000 SSB kayalang mahal. pero pag iipunan ko talaga sya , then after kong makaipon at kumpleto na ang budget ko , pumunta ako sa Main Branch ng LYRIC sa Gilmore , ayun Destiny nga wala akong nauwi haha wala nadaw Stock and ang last stock at Huling Bumili daw nun ay yung Gitarista na Vocs. ata un ng FAINTLIGHT , So ngayun I'm Still waiting padin na magkameron and still DREAMING

I always wanted a Jaguar. I always end up with Jazzmasters. I've probably been through 3 Jagmasters, 1 Mustang, 5 Jazzmasters but STILL NO JAGS.
