Hi! Hmmm I dunno why they call it semi-pro models pero pag sa Nikon eh yun yung mga D300/s, D700, etc. then sa Canon, 7D, 5D Mark II, etc.

agree! kase kung seseryosohin mo siya kapag entry level ang bibilin mo. after ilang months nakukulangan ka na sa functions eh.
Ang term na ginagamit sa semi-pro is high end models, then sa professional naman in flagship models

You're looking at a budget of 60k+ if you'll be going for semi-pro models like the Nikon D300s and/or Canon 7D.

I think you should get a Nikon D90; hindi mo siya matatawag na entry-level talaga, since it's a really good first DSLR. I doubt mabibitin ka sa features nya for quite sometime. I don't know kung magkano ang price nun used, though. Definitely way cheaper than the D300s or 7D.

errr...eh mahal din naman gumawa ng photography studio. minsan the lights cost more than the camera body eh, wala pang modifiers/accessories yun

kung pang personal use pwedeng DIY, pero kung paparentahan mo it's a no-no. Kelangan ang babayaran ng clients dapat sulit, baka DIY din yung perang ibabayad nila

my budget is only 20k for a DSLR.
pa suggest naman po ng magandang brand model,
