I got bored so I sent my strat to Sir Arie of Guitar Hospital for a "proper setup". (I feel college all over again)
Neck reset
Fret dress
Hardware cleaning
Bone nut slotted properly to accommodate 10-46 gauge
Fret board refinished to eliminate raised tongue [gotta love rosewood slab for this]
Finally had the time last night to install new strings, fix the bridge and set up the actions after fiddling with the tremolo and springs for days only to be irritated... [tried the Carl Verheyen method, I'm not Carl Verheyen]
PS: anybody selling tremolo springs? (the one that claws to the.. err.. trem claws)?
I want to install 5 preferably new springs as oppose to 3, just because.
