Audio system for dj-ing which can be used for band...possible?
« on: November 16, 2006, 10:14:37 AM »
I think you can help me setting up my small studio coz I dont know a lot PA's. Anyway, heres the thing, I used tried dj-ing just for kicks so i have an all out pioneer system (cd players+mixer). However, once in a while I also invite my friends to jam with me (I play drums).
What i need is an audio system for my small studio which can be used for band practice or my dj-ing (if this is possible?).

What audio system can you recommend that would cater to my needs?

What are monitors? With respect to my band needs, could I just buy amps instead (like one amp for the guitar, one amp for the bass, one amp for the vocals?)

Salamat ng marami :-)

What is the size of your studio?
  • length
  • width
  • height

You'll need a packaged PA system and instrument amps.
  • loudspeakers
  • power amp
  • 1/3-octave graphic eq
  • mixer
  • mics
  • bass amp
  • guitar amps
  • mic stands
  • assorted cables & connectors
