yeah, the UA pres are nice but you have to watch the gain on them kase ang headroom is not very high, the (Avalon) 737sp has a bit higher headroom by comparison. On the plus side, the coloration of the signal especially if you run the resulting signal through an LA or some kind of tube comp, the sound is very warm, parang in-your face talaga. I don't own a Grace pre pero I know it is very clean from having used the 201 before. If you want a clean - very clean - sound to make dry recordings with, the Grace is the way to go. It is priced very competitively too.

Ako nga, I just upgraded to S5PE, may kasamang Project 5V2 (I got a very good deal from Cakewalk), tapos libre pa ang upgrade ko to Sonar 6!

Na-qualify ako for automatic upgrade to Sonar6 pano I waited until August to upgrade to Sonar5, tapos I was able to get Project5 V2 with the deal, all for $149 - very long story but the moral is, it pays to be patient (and adamant at the same time).

They'll be shipping S6 real soon.

By the way I noticed that you have Multimix 12FW in silver not in black, is this an older or new model? Also your PC case you left it open, just wonder how much fan noise you get if it is open.

yup thats my old setup kasi... behringer UB1204 pa lang yang old setup ko

re: opened case.... with my old setup na wala pa akong sound booth, wala naman ako naging problem dun kasi naka condenser mic naman ako. wag lang may biglang magbabagsak ng pintuan hahahaha.

sana di lang pictures pati na rin yong sample works diba para maganda at least magkakaroon ng idea kung nasa gamit talaga kung maganda rin yong mga tunog, suggestion lang.
