THE teenage fanclub? a "one-hit wonder"? they've been writing hits for years now! how about "hang on", "the concept", "what you do to me"? not only are they good at what they do, they're also one of the most consistent popsong writers ever.
if you liked "be strong now" by james iha, try "sound of love" it's quite nice too with its folky roots and all.
the rentals also have released more than one record and their albums are chocful of fuzz-laced popsong goodness. they just never made it as big as matt sharp's previous band, weezer.
you gotta give these guys a listen or two. i swear you won't be disappointed.
