d'you think they only did it to raise the sales of their first album?

pag alis nung ex-vox nila tsaka sila naging un-christian eh...baka yun lang ang key sa pagiging christian band nila...

pero wala din naman masama sa mga songs na nilabas nila nung umalis yung ex vox nila eh...aside from paulit-ulit na riffs at chord progressions, wala naman message ang songs nila na nagko-condemn ng kanilang pagiging christian diba?

Well, it would not be the first time. Evanescence has also been "accused" of doing this.

Anyways, the only song I heard from them is "The Red".  Not sure if kanila rin ang "Send the Pain Below". Both songs are awesome. :-D

I think from the start never naging Christian band ang Chevelle, positive lang ang lyrics nila.

Parang nabasa ko sa isang website yun eh.

Gusto ko lang talaga yung mga riffs nila and yung bagsakan. Parang Tool eh.

Yup, pero gusto ko din style nila ng pagtugtog and yes, compared to Tool, man. Marami pa silang kakaining bigas, hehehe.

Mejo hindi rin ok yung tunog nila pag live na. Parang nahihirapan kumanta yung vox nila. But, for a 3-piece band, ok na din! Natatawa lang ako sa kanya dahil lagi syang nakatapak dun sa parang toolbox, sabi nya sa isang live dvd na napanood ko, lagi daw yun andun pag tumutugtog sila, siguro nahihirapan sya sa ibang mga riffs paano ang baba nya mag-guitar, hehehe. Kaya kelangan isampa nya yung paa nya dun sa toolbox na yun :-D :-D :-D

I listen to Chevelle as well!
