Pre, ibang kategorya ang rockier than rock.

1965-1967 were probably the best years in British Rock (n Roll):

Yardbirds
Animals
Them
Rolling Stones
Bluesbreakers
Hollies
Donovan
the Who
Zombies
Kinks
Procol Harum
Steppenwolfe
Moody Blues
Cream
Van Morrison
...the Beatles

Later on (post 1967 and psychedelic era),

David Bowie
Thunderclap Newman
Pink Floyd
Joe Cocker
Led Zeppelin
Deep Purple
Blind Faith
Traffic
Jethro Tull
Guess Who

If  you can watch "The Boat That Rocked," it's a good reference for British Rock Radio in the mid 60s and why I believe that 1965-1967
were probably the best years in Brit Rock. It was the birth of a music revolution in the mid 60s.

Uy, Brit rock / Britpop! I like this thread!

Britpop:
Oasis
Blur
Ash
Pulp
Suede
Ocean Colour Scene
The Verve
Coldplay
Radiohead

Brit rock:
Cream
Pink Floyd
Led Zeppelin
The Who
The Rolling Stones

Whew! Ya just gotta love their unique brand of music! And don't get me started on the nasally accent.

Sobrang dami...there's your usual 60's-70's era like The Beatles, Cream, Led Zep, etc.  As of late, I really dig the The Darkness music.  It's sad lang talaga na-disband na yata.

I love brit rock music! From their riffs through their melodies. Sa UK ang birthplace ng rock and roll bands right?
David Grohl: Why can't it always be this easy?
Paul McCartney: It is.
