Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 - still worth buying

Hi mga sir, may tanong lang po ako 

Pinag-iisipan ko kasi ibili si Dad ko ng tablet and I was thinking of buying him a Galaxy Note 10.1. Ang problema ko eh may kakalabas lang na Galaxy Tab S 10.6!
Bibilhin ko na ba yung mas bagong model?
Importante ba talaga yung S-pen? Artist kasi yung dad ko, so mas may advantage ba yung may pen?
Malaki ba talaga yung difference, bukod dun sa S-pen tsaka screen size?

Ang experience ko pa lang with S-pen is with Note II. And I love it. My daughter loves it too. That stylus is not the typical ones na parang replacement lang sa finger touches. Meron kasing effect ang pressure sa paghawak. Much like a real pen. The stylus is Wacom so oks talaga sa mga artist.

May tech difference yan like Exynos vs Snapdragon CPU, Super Amoled vs. Super LCD and so forth (tip: mas malaki ng konti ang battery capacity ng Note 10.1). But it will always boild down to target usage. Kung gagamitin talaga for sketching, mas oks ang Note.
