It depends on what purpose would you use it? as for general purpose I would go for the 2020 which has generally a more variety of use. MXLs usually have more pronounced highs and less low mids. Im not comfortable with them on vocals of male voice. But I may be using them as 2nd mic for acoustic guitars (near the neck position) to compliment the "other mic" on the bridge.
