sometimes they got a mind of their own, ignoring you once they use their smell.. its fun, theres some "randomness" with them.
but i soooo love my beagle, very friendly, loving, and cute, and got so much energy. rarely gets tired. 
they are really strong, if you try to walk them and they pull you, you'll feel how strong they are.

i also watch dog whisperer, and i try to not let him pull me during walks.. but i fail haha. when their nose gets to the ground, theyll sniff everything! but i just ignore them and walk wherever i want to go, and of course theyll follow. one thing i have read in the net, dont go out of the house without a leash, because theyll run away, following where their nose gets them. their nose is so good.
its also cute when they play with you. theyll get one thing, show it to you, and when you try to go near them. theyll run away as if saying "catch me if you can!" haha.
but i had taught him how to sit and some simple things. they learn fast, but sometimes stubborn.

That's what I read and heard before. Beagles can be stubborn at times, but they're not really hard to train.

It's like a claim. For example, when I say "dibs on your car", when you decide to sell your car, I get to purchase it first before anyone else does.

ahh! okay haha. but i only have a male beagle.. pag may female na akong nahanap ant nagka baby na sila ill pm you, kung wala kapang dog.. 9 months palang kasi ang beagle ko hindi pa yata potent haha.

akitas are great dogs but I wouldn't recommend one if you have small kids in the house. akitas are very territorial kasi eh and nandun talaga yung guard dog instincts nila.

me on the other hand, I want to add an American Bully to the family pero wala nang space sa bahay.

Are akitas as big as labradors? Or are they smaller?

Kami din wala nang space sa bahay. Poor labrador.. minsan na lang makalabas sa kulungan.

when I went to a dog show late last year, I saw an Akita and it was bigger than a Labrador so I think they're generally bigger. pero sabi nila American version daw yun ng Akita hindi daw katulad ng Akita sa Hachiko movie. ang American version iba daw yung color pattern but I'm not sure if there's a size difference.

We already raised 2 Alsatians and one Rhodesian Ridgeback. Both are good guard dog.    Now i have one Doberman which is really an excellent guard in our house. i like big dogs. They will protect you in trouble.
