production project: philmusic
« on: September 06, 2007, 01:17:25 PM »
i'm proposing a production project to anyone who's interested here in philmusic...

gawa tau ng song on line!

i don't know how we should go about this though:

1. beat
2. melody
3. lyrics, song
4. addtl instruments
5. anything goes...etc

gets nyo??  :?

then everything would be done on line... upload lng ung may idea seperate tracks
ung i-a-add, add lng ng add ng ideas, pati mixing...

gusto ko sana maka una sa beat kc gusto ko parang neptunes ung beat... :)
(asa)---try ko iupload tonight nasa ofc ako e..

tapos dagdagan nyo ng gusto nyo idagdag...

wag naman masyado mahaba:

intro, verse, chorus, outro
un lng.. 2mins oughta  do it...

san kaya pwede iupload? pede ba d2? if u have any ideas how to do this help out...

this is going to be interesting... promise

true that skunky.

If your looking for a place to upload you could try www.freehostia.com
Sign up for the free hosting and the bandwidth is pretty decent. You get ftp access... features are pretty cool for a free hosting site.

Yup, and first hand experience tells me that the more people involved in recording, the harder to make all their minds meet.  And for bands, this is quite common, because everyone wants to have a piece of pie in the recording.

Now, the proposal at first glance looks appealing, but I swear to God that would not be easy to do.  Otherwise we'll just be having some sonic collage that may look messy.  The key here is collaboration and quite frankly, a little directing from a "boss" or producer.

True. Collaboration is always a good thing. Dunno why some would take it negatively. We just need to delineate everyone's responsibilities, though. Kinda like Ironchef where there's only one head chef guiding everything.

I think you meant "force of habit".  :-D

Anyway, it's all good. Don't limit yourself to this project only. If you have a riff or melody, just hit record so you don't forget it. We can build on it and maybe add some things you never thought of. Make enough stuff and you may have material for an album.

Brings back memories of the 'Jam', eh Al? Still have the files?
