SATA Hard drives
« on: March 26, 2007, 09:54:33 PM »
aw, kanina kasi may nagsabi sakin

" diba sata ang hard drive mo, ano raid na gmit mo?"

sabi ko
"|di ko alam, may ganun pa ba?"

sabi nya
"malamang, para maoptimize yung pagiging SATA nya"

so the question is, tma ba yun?

pano yung RAID aayusin?

if you will be using the sata drive for home, di na kelangan/importante yan sir. usually servers lang ang gumagamit ng raid.

ur sata controller should support 3gb/sec transfer rate..
check specs of your mobo, if not & if its really necessary for you to have that speed, then upgrade to a slot based sata controller that supports that feature
*hope this helps
