Guys, is it ok to buy guitars on Amazon.com specifically Gibson Les Paul? Some Les Paul there are cheap and I'm wondering if they're original. But I think they are original because it is not allowed in the States to sell imitations, am I right? If they are original, do they (cheap) sound great too? Are there Gibson distributors here in the Philippines? Your thoughts would be helpful. Thanx!

The problem with an Amazon badge on your package is that it is apparently a magnet of attention from Customs people. Even if the unit itself is cheaper, you're going to pay a significant amount of added costs from shipping, duties and taxes. Amazon sources their musical instruments from other stores anyway (MF is it?).
If you're bent on buying a Gibson USA guitar from outside the country, it'll probably be more fun to take a plane to Hong Kong and go to Tom Lee.

what I love about Crescendo though is they're not strict when it comes to customers checking out the guitars. when I went there last tuesday, I was able to hold a SG standard and Les Paul 50's tribute and the staff was really cool with it. :)

Pero ang kaibahan lang sa Cresendo yung pinapatry sayo mga x10 to x20 ang presyo compared sa sapatos! Parang ikaw tuloy yung mahihiya magtry! :lol:

Hindi ako Gibson fan in general pero napamura ako na may non-reverse Firebird dito! >:C

Bawal pumasok walang pera at credit card on hand.. struggle talaga lalo pa at accomodating ang staff to let you try out the top of the line models nila... :drool: I almost sold a kidney to get the Les Paul I tested...mismo kasi!! :razz:
