I started out just like everyone else, a radio-gaga...
heard some cool but different stuff, but most noticeably cool music called 'new wave'... hehehe. But still heard it much from radio.
NU na ata nuon. When they mostly played classic rock & modern new wave stuff.

Since I was a thrasher back then, Thrashin' the movie (Challenge to Win), I really don't get why the movie board change the titles, hindi naman tayo mga indio. Anyway, Thrashin' was the big deal back then for us.
The music there were WOW!!! Thrash-Rock. Then we just came to know, that was punk na pala. Hanep ang mga songs.
Pwede pala sa guitars yun na ganun kabilis sabay ng drums (I thought).

Of course, high-school estudyante pa ako nun, wala pa gaanong breads pambili ng mga album tapes. So I decided to record it from my loud tv (playing the movie on betamax), directly onto the mic hole of my cassette recorder.. Instant soundtrack album na. eheheh.
Since recording from radio was a bit of a habit before it. Kaya, that's the best way I can think of to have the movie's songs on tape.

So I listened & proudly doing chika about it sa school, when my classmate showed & said wala yan sa tape na 'toh, Metallica - And Justice for All.... Pinakinggan namin, I was totally blown away. That was trully heavy. I liked it immediately.
So, I borrowed the Metallica-And Justice... tape, play sa bahay, sound-tripped to it loudly enough to annoy my mom. ehehhe.
Until, nasagad ang pag-play sa player ko, the cassette tape-deck player ate parts of the intro to the song One.
Yaiks, ano sasabihin ko sa may-ari.!!!

I still managed not to turn up the owner's temper, pero he was like 'bayaran mo yan tol'.. hehehe. so ok, no choice, may ipong pera, konti nga lang, binili ko ng bago para dun sa classmate ko. Then the damaged one left with me.
Pinag-tiyagaan ko na din yun.

And that was the start, Metallica - And Justice For All..., na nasundan ng Kill..., Ride..., etc. & other bands na.

Haba ng story, sorry... wala akong kausap e. ehehehe. Cheers!!! Inom tayo, tubig. hehehe.

typecast's every moss and cobweb album, super duper importante saka memorable sakin yung album na yun, once ko lang siya pinatugtog sa player ng buo tas tinago ko na, haha!
