Another guitar :-D
The Traugott R was delivered to me last week...
Finally had time to take some pics...
I remember 5 years ago when I purchased my Greenfield G1 at Luthiers collection (best non-vintage acoustic store).  The shop owner, Michael Joyce said the top 3 builders are Ervin Somogyi, Kim Walker, and Jeff Traugott.
I never Imagined I would be able  to own guitars from these builders... and multiple guitars from each...

The R is Jeff Traugott's flagship model. 
It has a very tight waist... and is slightly larger than an OM.





German spruce top and Brazilian rosewood back and sides




This guitar has Jeff's newer back bracing design... a floating back brace...



Traugott R w/ the smaller 00.

Jeff Traugott ang first kong nakitng modern acoustic na umabot ng 20K USD, way back 2001 sa acoustic guitar magazine...

The 00 is smaller and has a shorter scale 24.9 vs 25.4/
The 00 is also deeper, I think the deeper body compensates in terms of complexity and volume.
The R has a wider tonal range and is better at dropped tuning DADGAD etc...
