kwento? since i was the only one present from the last eb, the experience was still fun and informative. we also extended for 1 more hour.
the first 3 who got there was me, suspendead and manson. we thought we could start early but the 'bantay' at the studio that time was missing in action. turns out he was sleeping inside the studio
we started a little past 1 already and manson and suspendead were shy about sharing something so i had to start it. they wanted to know how i did that clave pattern with my left foot so it went from there.
bangbus and sandy showed up almost before 2pm but its when the fun really began. bangbus brought some of his toys namely 19 K hybrid crash, another 19 avedis crash and a 20 oriental china. the 19 K is a favorite. intake showed up fashionably late, later than everyone else hehehe (ok lang yun bro, laguna ka pa e)
sandy was the teacher this time. main topics were independence exercises and the shuffle. after his warmup, he showed us a samba lick which bangbus caught on video. next came a 3-2 exercise, best seen than described in letters though im not sure if there is a video of this one. its doing different time signatures on each of your limbs. then sandy went on to discuss a couple of shuffle grooves. he also did the tom fill on rosanna while bangbus captured it on vid for us to breakdown and learn. it was porcaro day during that eb, most of the grooves on jeff's only instructional video were taken up.
sandy had to leave early but we still went on to have some more fun. we adjourned sometime past 4pm but i think it was already 5pm.

i apologive to bangbus, kasi ang aga nya tumawag sa kin nasa edsa na daw before 1pm pa. then nagstart na kami wala pa sya, naka abot na pala ng sm city. sorry bangbus, my fault, di ko na indicate sa map na di dapat umakyat ng flyover after ng cubao underpass
