I never thought it would happen but it did.
Was on blowout sale and tried it and man this amp really is Misunderstood...that's why it sold so poor.
I was expecting the floor model but to my SURPRISE i got a brand spanking new out of the box in IRON MAN RED. Kumander and my son loved the look.
What I like:
-No Master Volume mode
-footswitchable tube driven fx loop
-footswitchable boost
-INDEPENDENT LOOP VOLUME
-cathode bias....TUBE ROLL ALL YOU WANT without biasing.
-CREAMBACK SPEAKERS....at last i can have a break from V30s for a change
-pull body low mid boost AND pull brightness switch, very useful and versatile
-a very LOUD 30 watt combo with a 5 watt mode which is i suspect a 15 watt coz its damn loud even in that mode.
-K.T. 66!!!
-handwired turret style construction merged with pcb
The floor model rocked flawlessly BUT i went with the new one knowing there is a tube rattle to begin with.
Ive taken it apart already rattle is still there and not coming out of the speakers so now gotta get some good pre amp tubes first and see if it goes away.
This amp SOUNDS holy BUT i know still on honeymoon phase.
