Axemen who do vocals & play killer guitar at the same time AND play ripping leads. Off the top of my head:

Hendrix

Alexi Laiho

Dave Mustaine

Stevie Ray Vaughan
Matt Hoch (Trivium)
Justin Hawkins (The Darkness)

With the exception of SRV, Matt and Justin don't just sing, they trade off excellent guitar lines with their other guitar players in the band.

Yep pero si Het di siya masyado sa leads eh, kung meron man siguro yung medyo mabagal lang.

yeah hetfield may not be the type who tears it up with leads, but he sure does deliver the most crushing rhythm playing known to man!

Not to mention his awesome stage presence. Man, no other guitarist/vocalist looks as cool as Hetfield on stage.

james hetfield from metallica! definitely. he doesn't fit the ripping leads criteria though but his stage presence easily makes up for that and then some. :D

anchang from sex machineguns! it's mind boggling how he can play songs like tekken II and mikan no uta while singing! i mean, singing and playing guitar at the same time's already kinda difficult but when you're playing crazy riffs...

Jimi - even if he sung monotonously, Jimi made monotone COOL! SRV and Ace Frehley would never have had a snowball's chance in hell for acceptance if it were'nt for Jimi's sedate (or acid-tripped out?!) vocals. Awesome chop + ok vocals = still plenty of chicks ;P

Richie Kotzen - shred that just KILLS you. his funky-bluesy-jazzy style is perfect for his soulful voice. i think his guitar playing reflects his voice, i really hear the connection. musical maturity is a good thing, he's the embodiment of that truth. RK rules!

John Pizzarelli - saw him on tv a few times, and his scat singing on top of his sound-barrier-breaking bebop lines makes you freeze and think about why you should even continue playing guitar. for a while i considered calling it quits and taking up something else to find musical solace and deep expression, like the glockenspiel, triangle or egg shaker, and be cutting edge with it. even to the point of finding a new hobby... fishing or toothpick architecture, anyone?

JAMES HETFIELD - "The god of metal guitar playing" he made me realize that its cool even thou ure not that good of a lead player or u dnt have an idea on scales modes and theory and stuff just make sure those riffs would remove thier heads on thier body due to extensive head banging

ALLAN HOLDSWORTH- "If u think that guitar player is good then ask if he knows allan holdsworth" No one can touch this monster period.

JASON BECKER- "OH MY GOD" Too early retirement for this monster a balance between genius and innovative.
