hindi siya heavy bro. saktong-sakto nga siya. pero naisip ko beforehand na baka maging neck heavy nga since mabigat yung kamagong, so yung body ko pinakapalan ko yung thickness than usual. yung total weight ng guitar mga 10-11 lbs.

unplugged, yung sound niya is a little scooped. full bass and lots of upper mids-treble. the treble malamang dahil sa neck wood at yung full bass dahil sa thick mahogany body.

plugged, the VH-1 is a perfect match as a neck pickup. fat at meaty pero articulate pa rin at hindi muddy. yung PAF Pro medyo bitin ako sa output kasi sanay ako sa hi-output pickup. at dahil maypagka-neutral sounding pickup siya, lumalabas yung pagiging natural scooped ng guitar. i might replace the bridge with a more mid heavy pickup like a Super Distortion.

magpost ulit ako ng review once na gig-test ko na ito, hehe.

nagpagawa ako ng gitara kay mang max kanina lang(2nd time ko pumunta sa shop niya), yung ibanez na red

truss rod adjustment and intonation, solve ako, tapos nilinisan niya yung fretboard ko, pati headstock, sinikipan niya yung input jack ng guitar ko, grabe galing niya gumawa,

may bago siya ginagawa ngayon rickenbaker copy, ganda rin, tignan niyo na lang sa pic yung rick, nasa bandang likod nung pics

medyo mahaba ang pila sa custom guitar ngayon sabi niya. 6 guitars ata ang next in line nung nakuha ko yung V ko. safer na 2 months na lang, para hindi sobrang ma-excite hehe.

I'm sure Max is a nice guy so someone please do him a favor and:

1 -- Take BETTER pictures of the guitars. Every picture I've seen is blurred and they don't really bring out the beauty you guys speak of.

2 -- Show him pictures of really NICE guitars so he gets more ideas on what to make. Guitars can be an artform as well, pero pinagiisipan din. Vine inlays on Teles are just not cool.

sorry bro. hanggang dun lang talaga ang kaya ng aking camera skills. yung mga shots na na-post ko mga napagpilian ko na yun na magandang kuha.

[grape] talaga ko kumuha sa digicam. pero promise i'll try to take better pics next time.
