circus at cutterpillow, knockout follow-ups...the "2" and "3" punches after "1" (ultraelectro..)

honestly i love their first 3 albums (ultra, circus and cutterpillow) and it was pretty hard for me to choose just one.

pero in the end, i chose circus. for me this is the eheads' best work ever. super amazing.

i was still in elementary when my sister brought the ultraelectro tape. at sobrang na-adik ako na tipong kahit hindi ko pa masyadong maintindihan yung meaning ng songs nila, kinakabisado ko na lang for the sake na makasabay ako. hehe.

Ultra. They had a lot of time to sort out the songs' melodies & lyrics. Kung sana nung time na yun, they had the chance to record it well. But Ultra, as it was recorded, already defined E-Heads' music, kahit ano pang areglo, maganda o hindi maganda, the songs speak for themselves.

i havent heard please transpose and carbon stereoxide. is it good? or too much experimenting was done on those two?

lets put it this way, i kinda think na ang songs ng carbon stereoxide eh puno ng mixed emotions.. - dominant ang feelings ni ely [sa songs nya] - and he is even [well for me ha] hinting to the listener na... [why listen to the songs? malapit na ang huling el bimbo]... well. .that's my own opinion ha.. here are some lyrics[excerpts lang] ng CSO album w/c i kinda... loathe:

1. kelan nga ba aaraw - parusa ang bawat galaw.... sa lamig.. tuyo't tigang na ang aking bibig - palamig
2. paulit ulit lang ang pagdurusa... burahin mo na ang alaala... - o/amnesia
3.bukas... magwawakas... na ba ang lahat? - hula
4.tuwing ako'y nangangamba, ay nagwawala, naglalaro nagpapanggap na ako'y ganap na tao, isang super hero - hindi nasasaktan - maskara

now, hindi ko sinisiraan sila ha.. i'm just pointing out *what i THINK* are some of the 'hints' i mentioned earlier.. [err.. don't hate me for what i said

thanks. i really wish they'd come out with a box set of their albums. kulang-kulang kasi yung akin eh.

is there any truth to that 'box set' issue coming next year? or joke lang yun? napag-usapan na rin kasi yan dati sa groups ng eheads, pero not sure pa rin yung last na info about that.

their fruitcake book is really cute. dati nung high school i've always used '[grape] the wiseman' as a codename sa kris kringle namin. haha. i love styro snow and trip to jerusalem so much!!!
