Title: Mismatched wood...
Post by: nitroaurora on December 17, 2015, 11:43:39 AM
For guitars with multiple woods, do you have a guitar with mismatched wood? yung tipong litaw sa paint yung pagka-mismatched? seen a guitar na litaw sa paint yung wood and yung isang plank is mas darker, above the paint pag tinignan sya parang nadedefy yung pagka-butterscotch nung guitar and appeared as darker yung upper part prang hndi n xa pure butterscotch, wala ba issues yung mga ganito? or may mga woods talaga na although identical pero hindi talaga magka-kulay?

They say there were woods that sound better together (compatibility) e.g. Maple and Mahogany

a little aesthetics issue yes, pero gusto ko din ma-verify kung a certain wood has different coloration, the guitar said to be three piece basswood, pero yung upper part wood is more darker, naisip ko lang baka hinaluan ng ibang wood, or same basswood sya kahit mas darker yung isang piece?
