What can you say about the ZT amplifiers? I own a lunchbox & I use it as my main amp. It is really loud, sounds great & cuts through the mix. My only concern is the heat it generates at the back, parang plantsa ang init when you use it for a long time. I emailed ZT about this & they said it is normal & it will auto shut down naman pag sobrang init na talaga. The last time I used it nag amoy sunog siya pero hindi naman nag shut down. By the way when you use it without a dirt pedal/distortion it doesn't heat up that much. How about your lunchbox, do you experience this kind of problem also?

Thanks for sharing, sir. I hope hindi umabot yung lunchbox niyo ng sobrang init. yung mga unang gamit ko kasi sa kanya hindi naman talaga umabot na sobrang init, recently lang nagkaganun pero di pa naman sya bumibigay. I dunno if it's the dirt pedal I use. Sa barber smallfry at BB plus kasi dati di naman sya umaabot ng sobrang init but when I started using the shredhead I discovered that it heats up so much. Do you think the dirt pedal I'm using is causing it because it's high gain? ang ganda pa naman ng tunog ng shredhead sa lunchbox.

We got 2 Club12s for the band and it is fvckin' loud!!! It sounds great for a solid state amp. Will post pics soon!

yup. normal lang daw yun sabi ng customer support nila. ZTs daw can operate for 10 hrs straight w/o overheating.

ganda nitong ZT CLUB. May room type reverb, bass and treble eq tsaka gain. Yung gain niya hindi full on overdrive e. The more you crank the gain the more "tube sag" you get.

AND IT IS VERY LOUD!!! Maganda tapon ng tunog. Pag nag gig ka sa maliit na bar, volume 3 palang solb na. Pedal friendly din. Kung di ka pa solb dun, may effects loop siya. Ang maganda dito puwede mo i-expand yung capability ng amp. Bukod sa puwede mo siyang iconnect sa cabinet via the speaker out, puwede mo din ikabit sa ibang amp, speaker, PA o house system gamit yung headphone amp. May dedicated volume yung headphone (hindi katulad ng ibang amps na auto mute ang speakers pag nasa headphone out ka)  at puwede pa naka on ang speaker habang naka saksak ka sa headphone out. Puwede mo gamitin pang monitor habang nakasaksak ka sa cabinet pag outdoor gig. Practical gigging amp talaga ito. Kasya dalawa sa trunk ng tsikots.

Problema ko lang dito, malaki yung siwang sa grille. Madali pasukin ng dumi at puwede mabutas yung driver. Puwede mo naman dikitan siguro ng DIY grille cloth sa harap niya.

Doubletrouble & I tested his ZT lunchbox with a shredhead a few months back... this amp is surprisingly loud! Nope, it doesn't fart.. at first I was expecting it too because of the small size of the speaker...but it really doesn't fart even under palm-muted riffs.

Of course it does. Max it out with a Shredhead. Expected for a 6.5" driver. Clean tones are great too which I really like. Yeah. So I plug it into a borrowed 2x12 avatar cab with vintage 30's and a Vovox 3ft speaker cable. Yep. Epic.

Can't wait to get the Jet City cabs I ordered and the rest of the ZT line.

I'll also try it with other cabs that my friend has when he's available. Dr. Z 2x12, Bogner 4x12, /13 2x12.

Also expecting my first ever Sebastienne Chrome Dr. Boogie and will do a demo with the Lunchbox soon. \m/

EDIT: Get a lunchbox and try it with a DIY 2x12 or an imported one.

it doesn't fart at low volumes pero syempre when you crank it up di na kaya yung chug, chug na sound. if your from pque you can try mine or try turi's.

very informative. its good to know about the heat issue. something to consider before buying the lunchbox...if customer support says its normal eh di ok lang, sagot naman nila yun pag nasira e.

I got myself a Club 12 lately, and immediately got rid of my classic 30 halfstack.

very loud, very usable at almost all situations, and the tone is quite "acceptable" for my taste (I have been a tube snob for almost 4 years now lol), it's the first SS amp i actually enjoyed using. I'd choose this over any tube amp with the same output just because it's so easy to lug around.

I play some old rock with it (Pink floyd etc.) and it does pretty well either with a Les Paul or a strat. I use it as a clean amp and use 2 Tube Drivers for gain, I also use a TC Electronics Nova Mod and Nova Delay with it and it sounds ok with these pedals. I'm not running them on the efx loop, nakakatamad mag route eh.

I have this gig on the 29th at Club Dredd and I will get to test the Club 12's capability of performing in a live setting.

Congrats! Crankin up the Gain will make it sound more tube like. Have you tried the reverb? It's so sweet! Live? Dude, this is where it will shine. The sound opens up more when you go beyond bedroom volume. It's definitely unlike other SS amps that go thin and irritating once you get louder. It sounds fuller once you go past noon.

Enjoy. Ingat lang with the grills. The holes are too big. Dust and dirt gets in too easily.

+1! sa lunchbox pa lang ayus na pang live without using an extension cab, lalo na itong club 12!

I used my Club 12 last saturday @ Club Dredd and it was a pleasant surprise for me. It's way louder than the Hayden 2X12 combo, and I'm only at about 40-50% of the total output of the Club 12 (Gain and Volume at 10:00).
