I'm a solo acoustic act. Mostly covers, one or two origs. Where can I find a gig? Particularly for a first timer, sana hindi naman sobrang dami ng tao na hundreds kaagad. Kahit konti ok lang tbh, just really need any kind of experience start small and go from there. Kahit small resto bars lang & not doing this for the money
Can you give specific locations? Thanks guys :-D

Hindi ako naggig, and I have zero experience playing music at venues  but I do have a couple of tips that can help you :)
If you wanna start small, and for the experience, look for open mic nights at bars and restaurants. Only prepare your originals and maybe one cover.
Also try to have live recordings and burn it onto a CD, bring it in a flash drive and your phone. By live I don't mean get a bar gig and record it, or grab your phone and record a set at home. At the very least have a friend with a decent studio-quality mic record your performance for you, or book some time in a small studio. you never know who you bump into, maybe a local prod, maybe even someone who just wants you to play at a party. at least may demo ka agad kung wala kang gitara. I always have a couple of my home recordings in my phone, and in some random days I'd meet people who are interested in my work so bato ko lang sa bluetooth (may isa nga dancer nagtuturo sa company xmas party gusto nila ako mag-DJ para sa kanila, nagdecline naman ako hindi ako DJ eh ). always be prepared, and your work is your best contact card as a musician :)

Start with youtube, make sure decent quality ng video at audio.
Tapos record ka ng demos, 2-4 is enough. Again make sure, decent quality ng audio.
Then go to restobars near your place.
Good luck ang enjoy!

TL;DR version
1. join open mics. marami niyan sa mga coffee shops or small bars like conspiracy
2. record demos + demo videos na decent ang audio quality, distribute those demos to bars and PRODs
3. get acquainted with prods and message the people behind it. ask for a playing slot.

We're more resto than a bar. GRUB-eh Pares, but we're not your typical pares place :-)
I'd appreciate it if you folks could help spread the word. We're looking to do poetry readings as well as showcase visual and performance arts.
