im recording vocals and adding reverb digitally but im finding it really difficult to adjust settings so im looking into a cheap rackmount reverb. budget is 10k tops but prefer much lower priced units
these are the ones i looked at:
wharfedale ezverb
http://www.wharfedalepro.com/frames/processor_ezverb.html
behringer virtualizer pro
http://www.behringer.com/DSP2024P/index.cfm?lang=eng
alesis quadraverb
im leaning to buy the wharfedale for its simplicity and just because i used to have an old lexicon alex1 that reminds me of good times :-D the behringer has the most features but i dont know if i will ever use more than a vocal plate or hall effect. quadraverb became an option because a friend is offering me a 2nd hand unit without the adaptor
any other similar priced models you can recommend? reviews on the mention units is also very much appreciated :-D

the behri virtualizer's probably the cheapest you can get. it retails round 9k at jointventure.
i'm usin the reverb patches in my fx rack. it's useable to some extent, just dial down the wet cause the presets have too much which drown out the signal. just don't expect it to sound like a lexicon reverb.
check out the SoundonSound Review of the virtualizer pro (http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/Dec02/articles/behringervirtualizer.asp).
