        my brother. all his influences have influenced me.. pwera nlang yung R&B and Hiphop..

Miles Davis: 'coz of his attitude towards new music. Manily jazz musician siya but he was never ashamed to admit whenever there was a contemporary song that he liked, kahit sa ibang genre, yung iba na ginawan pa niya ng interpretation. He taught me to always have an open mind and to repect all genres of music kahit yung di ko trip and how to look beyond my instrument.

Karen Carpenter: Kasi kasing ganda ng boses niya yung palo niya.

Jason Becker: is actually a guitar player. YOU HAVE TO SEE WHY I LISTED HIM:
Kung may frustrations kayo about being a struggling musician this video will lift you up and encourage you 1000%.

U2 at Incubus: kasi ang ganda ng teamwork nila. BTW, kailangan niyo mapanood yung U23D, parang katabi niyo lang yung drummer nila, kitang-kita set-up niya. It's still different from the 'live' experience but it definitely worth experiencing.

Peter Coyle (vocalist/lotus eaters): I was greatly blessed a few years back when I was able to play drums for the Lotus Eaters and Sir Peter Coyle said something that i'l never forget. He said that depression is so common that it has reached epidemic proportions. Ngayon since common ang problema, tanggap na natin na malungkot ang buhay, ganyan talaga. But we as should always take pride in our occupation since we have the power to make people smile in an instant and that is so rare these days. Isipin niyo, yung mga tao pumupunta sa mga gig natin para maka-escape temporarily sa problema sa buhay at mag-enjoy. Sana maisip niyo yon sa next na gig niyo, ang sarap maging musikero

Today: a borrowed (old again) fernando set with stock heads.

idol ko to noon pa! madami mang nagbago sa rivermaya but his beat and distinctive feel remained. 

this is a burning question that I want to ask you Sir Mark: yung drum part ng "Shattered Like" papano mo ginawa?  is that a live drum groove or looped?  what specific drum instruments (hardware or software) were used on that track?

at LALO NA YUNG MGA DRUMMER NA ANG TAWAG SA "hi-hats" ay Clapper..
