Rivermaya do you think they should drop their name..??

For me yes im sick of the new rivermaya sa totoo lang wala na silang original member kahit si Mark Escueta even though siya ang sumikat sa paborito naten na 90'S Rivermaya hehe i think they should change name like what the Eraserheads did when they had kris dancel as vocals theychange the name into Cambio so what would you say i hope bamboo meets Rico again and do a collaboration

LISA NAKPIL owns the Rivermaya name.  Nasa SEC yan.  Kahit kunin niya si Diether Ocampo as vocalist at si Willie Revillame on drums, at tinawag niyang Rivermaya yun, PUWEDE (legally speaking).  Para siyang brand name na puwede magbago ang components.  Pero same name.

anyway, it doesnt really matter. legally or not, they'd still spew out the songs you might or might not like regardless of the band name.

OT: according sa facebook. mukhang may mga ilalabas na bagong kanta. pero hindi malinaw kung may bagong album na parating, at tsaka wala pa silang pino-post na song snippets.

BTT: paano kung minsan naman sa isang taon eh nagki-kita-kita 'yung mga original members (katulad ng Rivermaya w/out Bamboo), bakit pa ida-drop 'yung name diba? si serneyts nga mukha naman siyang masaya sa pagbabalik-'Maya niya at parang blended naman siya sa line-up ngayon, particular kay Mr. Elgar at Mr. Peralta.
